Yesterday was a vacation day for me in order to catch up on some things. The most difficult thing about working away from home is keeping up with my home! It was beautiful crisp November day and it even snowed just a tiny bit to put me in the Thanksgiving spirit!

I took my son to DMV to get his permit and he passed his exam!

I had time in between dropping him back off to school and picking up my youngest so I did a little shopping and found a cute throw rug for the kitchen marked down to $5. I made a lasagna for dinner and picked a beautiful arrangement of dried flowers from my yard to brighten up the kitchen.

The best part of my day was when each one of my older children came home for the start of Thanksgiving vacation. There is no greater feeling of contentment then being at home to greet them. I work long hard hours and I am so grateful for my job and the work that I do. I love that I can get dressed up every day and I love working with people, but I love being a mom to these amazing kids!
